If you have been sent an EBS SID and registration number in the past but have mislaid or forgotten them, fill in your email on this page and we will send you a reminder.
If you are a first-time purchaser of an Edinburgh Business School course, your SID and registration number should normally be sent to you in two separate emails within five days - if you have not received an email, please contact the support team at Edinburgh Business School.
If you have purchased your course through a local Distributor or Approved Support Centre, please contact your local Distributor or Approved Support Centre in the first instance.
Make sure you are typing your SID and the last five digits of your registration number correctly in the username and password boxes, as indicated above. Note that if you copy-and-paste the password from email this can sometimes include an extra space, causing the password to fail; try typing the five digits of the password directly instead. If you are still experiencing problems, contact the support team at Edinburgh Business School, quoting the username and password you are using.
If you have purchased your course over the telephone with one of our Student Advisers, or using our online purchase form, we aim to send out online access details within five days of your payment being processed. If this period has elapsed but you still do not have access to your course, please contact the support team at Edinburgh Business School, quoting your SID number and the course to which you are expecting access.
If you have purchased your course through a local Distributor or Approved Support Centre, please contact your local Distributor or Approved Support Centre in the first instance.

Before 2002 Edinburgh Business School courses were text-based only and course websites were not available. Course websites were launched in 2002 and, between this date and the end of 2003, you may have chosen to purchase either the cheaper text-based-only option or the text-plus-website package. Since January 2004, all courses sold comprise a combined course package including text and course website.
If you purchased your course before Course Websites were available, or chose the paper-only product between 2002 and the end of 2003, your SID and registration number will not automatically grant access to the Course Website in that subject. However, you can purchase an upgrade to allow access to the Course Website by following the 'Order course' link on our main website.
The Student Service site can be found here. The Student Service site enables you to perform administrative functions such as registering for examinations, notifying us of changes to your personal details, checking your examination results, and so on.
If you still need help or have a different technical problem with the learning website, please contact the technical support team at Edinburgh Business School.
For general queries concerning the administration of your programme, such as registering for examinations, queries about examination results, and so on, please email the general enquiries line at Edinburgh Business School.
